Theresa Marie Ocenosak, 86, passed away March 8, 2023. A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. until time of funeral Mass 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, at All Saints Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Interment will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Theresa is survived by her 11 children, Mary, Patty, Lori (Bill), Rodney (Lois), Yvonne (Ike), Doris (Donald), David (Renee), Betty, Sharon, Vicki (Jeremy) and Janice (Carlos); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Monica Krachey, Mary (Bob) Rose and Sister Delores Clare.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary DuCharme; siblings, Clem DuCharme and Marge (Harry) Konichek; brother-in-law, Kenny Krachey; former husband, Donald Ocenosak; and granddaughter, Casey Wallace.
Theresa graduated from Prairie du Chien High School. She married Donald Ocenosak in 1953. She worked many different jobs throughout her life: Madon’s Supper Club, Randalls, Barlows and Ryan’s Steak House. She cleaned All Saints Catholic Church for years. Her most important job was being a wife and mother to her beloved family. Theresa was a devoted Catholic and EWTN advocate.
