Theresa Lynn Poole, 57, of Hiawatha, Iowa, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Springfield, Ill. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is assisting the family.
Theresa was born Jan. 18, 1964, the daughter of Howard and Gladys Holdman. She graduated from Lanphier High School in Illinois. Theresa served honorably in the U.S. Army. She was united in marriage to Gary Poole on Nov. 7, 1987, in Cedar Rapids. Theresa was a licensed insurance agent in 48 states. She loved animals and reading her bible. Theresa was a very giving person who never asked for anything.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Poole of Hiawatha; sister, Della of Springfield; niece, Stephanie; adopted sisters, Patty of Indiana and Tina; adopted brothers, Rich, Roy and Wendall Holdman; and sister-in-law, Peggy Holdman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Agnes Holdman; two sisters, Sharon and Anna; and brother, Wesley.
