Theresa Anne Brown, 55, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away June 2, 2017, at Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. She had a long battle with COPD, Gitelman's disease, CHF and other health issues. Services will be 10 a.m. June 14 at Springs of Life Foursquare Church, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her son, David Matthews (Tessa); her daughter, Rachel Ahmed (Ahmed); grandchildren, Kodi, Dru, Patrick, Gabby, Jamielynn, Mathew, Isaiah, Gage and Tylar; brothers and sisters, Walter (Camilla), Keith (Deanna) and Mike (Brenda); parents, Walter and Donna Chesshir; many nieces and nephews; and stepchildren, Joe, Josh and James (Katie).
Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Brown; and her sister, Kim.
Theresa was born July 15, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio. She loved being around the grandkids, going to concerts, bike night and just being around great people.
