THEOLA NAOMI (HYDE) STOCKMAN
Sacramento, Calif.
Theola Naomi (Hyde) Stockman, 90, of Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Cedar Rapids, joined our heavenly father on Aug. 21, 2018, in Carmichael, Calif.
She was born on Sept. 26, 1927, in Peralta, Iowa, to John and Catherine Hyde. She was the youngest of four siblings. In 1943, she moved to Sacramento with her mother and sister. Theola graduated from Sacramento High School in 1945.
Theola is survived by her longtime companion, Titus Hirning; her children, Catherine Davis (Gaylen) and Mark Stockman (Deborah); five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her son-in-law, Robert Davis.
Theola's love of travel took her on countless road trips around the United States with Titus. She enjoyed playing bingo, hitting the slots, reading and spending time with her family. She was an adoptive mom to many. Small in stature but feisty in nature, Theola lived her life to the fullest.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, at
2 p.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 7595 Center Pkwy., Sacramento, Calif. Please feel free to contact the family at daviscm57@yahoo.com.
