Thenhaus, Maxine L.
Mrs. Maxine L. Thenhaus, 86, of Anderson, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Beth Straw of St. James Untied Methodist will officiate with burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Brooks-Evans of Anderson, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jessica Marie Brooks and Justin Matthew Brooks, also of Anderson, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce A. Thenhaus, five brothers and one sister.
Maxine was born Sept. 28, 1923, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Clarence and Lorena (Haynes) Van Alst.
