THELMA (ANDERSON) SEVY

Thelma (Anderson) Sevy entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2016. Per her request, there will be no service. The body will be cremated and returned to Florida to rest with the remains of her husband.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Mervin and John of Cedar Rapids, Howard of Santa Monica, Calif., and Robert of Grants Pass, Ore.
Thelma was born on May 10, 1921, to Otto and Ada (Wean) Anderson. She married Darold F. Sevy March 2, 1946, in South Bend, Ind. He died in 1988.
They moved to California in 1969. Thelma was a switchboard operator for U.P.A Pictures in Burbank, Calif., the home of "Mr. Magoo," for 12 years. They then moved to Largo, Fla., where she worked for a garden supply and nursery.
She went to grade school at Big Springs and Franklin Junior/Senior High School.
She was a past matron of Eastern Star, Magnolia Chapter, in Largo, Fla.
Thelma will be buried at sea.
