It is with sadness that we share the passing of Terry Lee Varner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Sunday, April 20, 2014. There will be no services. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Shelia; children, Kevin (Mel) Cerveny and Allan Hoppenworth, both of Cedar Rapids; and his "other son," Rabbit; and a grandson, Tyler Hoppenworth.
Terry was born Jan. 27, 1936, the son of George and Margaret (Gorman) Varner, in Iowa City, Iowa. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. On March 15, 1980, he married Shelia Cerveny. Terry retired from Goss in 200l.
