Terry E. Reynolds, 69, of Iowa City, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa

City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America or City High Alumni Association.

Terry was born Nov. 18, 1946, in Iowa City, the son of Henry and Thelma (Dubisher) Reynolds. Following graduation from City High School, he joined the Army Reserves. Terry was united in marriage to Christy Kelso in October 1969 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Iowa City. He worked as an equipment manager for the City of Iowa City and then as office manager at Linder Tire before retiring.

Terry was a past member of City High Alumni board and also served on the Babe Ruth Baseball Board. He coached his children's soccer and baseball teams, and later also umpired for Babe Ruth Baseball. Most of all, Terry was an enthusiastic fan rooting for City High and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Terry is survived by his wife, Christy; two children, Ty Reynolds (Sheila Buccola) of Dixon, Ill., and Amanda Reynolds of Oskaloosa; sister, LuAnn Reynolds (Dave Parsons) of Iowa City; mother-in-law, Phyllis Kelso of Iowa City; nephew, Camden Kelso (Kelly Beard and her son, Noah); niece, Gretchen Kelso; and many extended family.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents.
