Terry Michael Schnoebelen, 76, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away on April 8, 2024, in his home. A Memorial Service will be held April 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Anchor Bible Church, 275 Green Street W, Center Point, Iowa. Visitation will precede the service at 10:00 a.m. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Center Point assisted the family.

Terry was born on July 22, 1947, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Gerald Schnoebelen and Arlyne (March) Doser. Terry was united in marriage to Roseann (Boyles) Olmstead on October 28, 1967 and they later divorced. He worked as a machinist for many years and also enjoyed playing guitar and singing as a member of Hard Times, a popular local band in the 70’s. He always had a project going in the garage and his ingenuity and skill produced some inventions that may have warranted a patent. He also loved football season, chocolate, and most of all his family.

Terry is survived by his children, Alan (Tara) Schnoebelen of Newhall, Iowa, Angela (John) Bissell of Okinawa, Japan, and Ronald (Jennifer) Schnoebelen of Center Point, Iowa; 9 grandchildren, Cody (Emily) Schnoebelen, Abby (Lucas) Stein, Jaren (Aleena) Schnoebelen, Adam Bissell, Randi Schnoebelen, Seth Schnoebelen, RaeAnn Schnoebelen, Lilly Bissell, and Livia Schnoebelen; 3 great-grandchildren, Layla Schnoebelen (baby brother on the way), Stella and Callie Schnoebelen; siblings, Gwen (Bernie) Lentsch, Sandi Sanchez, Douglas (Tricia) Springer, Jeff (Gayle) Springer, Beth (Steve) Foxen, Ben (Jane) Springer and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Schnoebelen and Arlyne (March) Doser; brother-in-law, Pat Sanchez; and sisters Ann Foust, and Arlynn Seipp.
