Terry M. Branscomb, age 67, of Marengo, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital, in Iowa City. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Terry is survived by his longtime partner, Joanna Melsa, of Marengo; his former wife, Elizabeth Branscomb Klimes of Coralville; a son, Tyson (Jesse) Branscomb of Solon; and their four children, Dylan, Landon, Norah and Colton. He is also survived by his niece, Michelle Morgan of Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jackie Branscomb; a son, Bryan Mark Branscomb; and Joanna’s parents, Leonard and Ruth Melsa.
Terry Mark Branscomb was born in Putnam County, Mo., on Sept. 18, 1954, the son of Delbert and Gladys Branscomb. He graduated from Russell High School in 1972 and later relocated to Marengo. Terry was employed at American Color Graphics in Marengo. He enjoyed going fishing, reading western books and watching western movies. He loved hanging out and spending time with his friends. Terry’s laughter was contagious and will be missed dearly by everyone he encountered.
