Terry Luke passed away, May 19, 2023, after a short illness.
Terry was born and lived in Cedar Rapids all his life. He joined the U.S. Navy after school and then worked at Collins Radio as a machinist, retiring in 2001 after 36 years.
He loved to fish, hunt, camp, garden and take cruises and travel the U.S. with his wife, Orva.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Orva; sister, Susan Runde; and sisters-in-law, Mary Luke and Linda Howell (Homer); two children, Greg and Jackie; three stepsons, James and Laurie Lewis of Bellevue, Neb., John and Elissa Lewis, Scott and Tina Lewis; 11 grandchildren, Chrisman (Amanda), Andrea, Martina, Scott Jr., Mason, Zack, Heather, Alyssa, Jamie, Elizabeth and Bailey; six great-grandchildren, Kole, Kade, Kali, Nikolai, Ruby and Luna; and several nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Genevieve (Jenny) Luke/Crumbaugh; brother, Jack; and sister, Sandra Sturm.
A private graveside burial and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
