Terry Lee Hill, 54, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, June 24, 2023. A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lansing, Iowa.
Terry was born Jan. 31, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Floyd and Betty Lou (Anderson) Hill. He graduated from Jefferson High School. Terry was a member of the Salvation Army. He lived a happy and thriving life with Tracy, Pat, and Joshua. Terry loved Iowa women’s basketball, and Iowa men’s basketball and football. He also liked watching the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and attending Cedar Rapids Kernels baseball games. He greatly enjoyed singing karaoke.
Survivors include his siblings, Judy (Randy) Hill, Pamella (John) Dvorak, Tracy (Pat) Hardy, Bonnie (Dan) Bergstrom, Billie (Pete) Starks, Brenda (Daryl) Rowzer, and Lisa Hill; nephew, Joshua Bergstrom, whom Terry lived with for many years; 25 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and aunts and uncles, Donna (Larry) Loney, Jim (Deb) Wirral, and Mary Mortz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Lou Hill; paternal grandparents, John and Bertha Hill; and maternal grandparents, Fred and Cecilia Anderson.
