Terry Kay Benesch, 65, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday April 8, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Graveside service immediately follows the visitation at Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.
Survivors include an aunt, Rita Benesch of Center Point; numerous cousins; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sharon Rae Benesch.
Terry was born May 6, 1950, the daughter of Gerald and Georgia (Ledvina) Benesch. A 1968 graduate of Marion High School, she received her A.D.N. from Kirkwood Community College and then her B.S.N. from Mount Mercy College. Terry had worked for Mercy Medical Center since 1975.
Terry was an excellent nurse and her patients loved her. She also was a friend of Bill for many years.
Memorials may be directed to the charity of donor's choice in memory of Terry.
