Terry Allan Williams, 75, of Cedar Rapids died after a battle with a rare lung disease on Nov. 18, 2022, at Mercy Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Terry is survived by his sons, Trevin Williams of Cedar Rapids and Brian Glass; brother, Leroy (Phyllis) Williams of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister-in-law, Pat Williams; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Maureen (Leroy) Gardemann.
Terry was born on Oct. 29, 1947, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Elmer and Sylvia (Voeltz) Williams. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1967 and attended Kirkwood Community College. Terry married Freda Nordgren Williams on Nov. 13, 1970. They later divorced after many years of marriage. Terry worked at Grant Wood AEA as a delivery route driver and also as a maintenance worker for over 25 years.
Terry was a man of many hobbies and interests. He loved fishing, even competing in tournaments. Terry liked working on old cars, building models, and metal detecting. He loved trying out new hobbies.
