Teresa was born May 9, 1977 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of James E. Corcran and Nancy J. Montague (Corum). Teresa was united in marriage to Hector M. Candelaria on April 4, 2024 in the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Teresa was employed 20 years at Hallmark Care Center of Mount Vernon. Teresa enjoyed her job as The Restorative Aide. Anytime she was needed she would step into being an oral med tech, CNA, transportation, and helped with activities as needed. She enjoyed Hallmark because it was an uplifting environment, a place full of positive energy, caring people, and gave her friendships with staff and residents. She said residents had to be the greatest gain of all. Teresa really enjoyed pets, camping, gardening, fishing, boating, and loved making soaps, essential oils, candles, and lotions with her husband. Teresa loved helping in raising Christopher, Hayden, Jayce, and Carter. Christopher called her “TT,” Hayden called her “Mommy,” Jayce called her “Reesa,” and Carter called her “Pink Fong.” Teresa also loved family times together and made them happen.
Teresa will be greatly missed, but always in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her son, Austin Barnes, grandmothers, Patricia Corum and Helen Corcran, grandfather, Donald Corcran, Hayden’s father, Mickey Belieu, sister in law, Wendy Candelaria.
