Tedrow, Gloria Dee
Gloria Dee Tedrow, 61, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital after an extended illness. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Teahen Chapel, Walford, by the Rev. Dennis Juhl. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Teahen Chapel Walford.
Survivors include two sons, John (Jennifer) Tedrow of Swisher and Scott (Rene) Tedrow of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren, JD, Justin, Jacob, Moriah, Noah and Anna; her significant other, Bob Doubek of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Donna Prince of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Janet (Gary) Spencer and Carolyn (Keith) Ekstrom both of Fort Dodge, and Peggy Prince of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Ron (Lori) Prince of Fort Dodge and Jim Prince of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.
Her husband, John; father, James Prince; and two brothers-in-law, Jim and Mike Tedrow, preceded her in death.
Gloria was born Dec. 8, 1950, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of James and Donna Hurley Prince, and graduated from Prairie High School in 1969. She was united in marriage to John Leo Tedrow on Aug. 30, 1969, in Walford. He died in 2000. Gloria worked in the Quality Control Department of Nordstorm.
Gloria cherished spending time with her family. She loved spending time in her garden, shopping and enjoying the outdoors fishing and camping with Bob and their two dogs, Bailey and Sunny.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
