Taylor, SuzAnne Patricia
SuzAnne Patricia Taylor, 63, of Cedar Rapids went to heaven on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jude Catholic Church by Father Mark Reasoner. A vigil service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Teahen Funeral Home where friends may visit from 3 to 7 p.m. and again after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
SuzAnne is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Toneff of Dunkerton; son, Jeffrey (Brooke) Taylor of Marion; grandson, Colin Taylor of Marion; granddaughter, Delaney Toneff of Dunkerton; and seven siblings, Barbara (Lee) Ekblad, Richard (Jane) Walz, Paul Walz, Larry (Joanne) Walz, Tim (Tracy) Walz, Mary Rae Walz and Michael (Colleen) Walz.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
SuzAnne was born August 27, 1947, in Prairie du Chien, Wis., the daughter of Gerald and Anna Marie Novak Walz. She worked at Mercy Medical Center as a medical technologist for 33 years. SuzAnne was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and the American Blood Bank Association.
SuzAnne enjoyed bowling, gardening, reading and spending time with her dog, Benji. She loved to help others and always put their needs ahead of her own.
