Tana Cox, 60, of Marion, died suddenly Friday, April 28, 2017, at home. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Tuesday,
May 2, at Gospel Light Baptist Church, Marion. Arrangements by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Bill; sons, Nick (Michelle) and Bruce Cox; five grandchildren; brother, Steve (Gwen) Lasho; her in-laws; and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Tana Marie was born July 21, 1956, in Des Moines, then later adopted by Clarence "Peck" and Helen Lasho. She married William Cox II on May 4, 1985, in Marion. She attended UNI, studying horticulture, and enjoyed diving and swimming there. Tana loved camping and vacationing with Bill, fishing, gardening and spending time on the boat.
She was a great cook and a simple gal who meant a lot to her husband they made a great team and took care of each other. She especially loved watching her sons grow.
