Tammy Rose Bryant, 38, died Saturday, July 10, 2021. Service: 1 p.m. Friday at Teahen Funeral Home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and after noon on Friday.
Tammy is survived by her husband, James Santee; two children, Grayson Santee of Green Ridge, Mo., and Kamden Woodruff of Cedar Rapids; her brother, Tommy Bryant of Cedar Rapids; and aunt, Debbie Charles of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Tony Beranek; and her grandpa Lee.
Tammy was born on Dec. 29, 1982, in Riverside, Calif., the daughter of Donald and Robin Lee Cushman. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 2001. Tammy went on to further her education by graduating from Kirkwood Community College in 2008, Carlson College of Massage Therapy in 2013, and Capri College in 2019. She was owner and operator of Cloud 9 Massage & Spa in Ely. Tammy was a licensed massage therapist and nail technician. On Dec. 29, 2015, she married James Santee in Cedar Rapids.
Tammy had an amazing drive and ambition. She loved her family and her boys were her everything. She enjoyed time spent with friends, a good glass of wine, and did her best to make everyone happy. She loved her Jeep, dogs, horseback riding, hunting, riding motorcycles and four wheelers, camping, and traveling. Tammy was very creative and expressed her creativity by making glass etchings and doing projects around her house.
