Tami Hudgins went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018.
Tami was born Tami J. Hanson on Jan. 9, 1965, at Fort Lewis Army Hospital, Tacoma, Wash., to parents Jerry and Kathy Hanson. Tami was the wife of Rodney Hudgins and mother of Shelbi Bertelli. Tami was a caring daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend.
Tami leaves a loving husband, Rodney; and daughter, Shelbi Bertelli of Cedar Rapids; also parents, Jerry and Kathy Hanson of Belleview, Fla.; brother, John Hanson of Indianapolis, Ind.; father-in-law, Roger Hudgins, and mother-in-law, Linda Hudgins of Dunkerton; a brother, Kent Hudgins of Cape Coral, Fla.; aunts, Elsie McElmeel of Waterloo and Helen Schmidt of Dike and Marilyn Holzer of St. Louis Park, Minn.; three uncles; and many cousins and friends.
Tami was preceded in death by a son, Justin; grandparents, Anton and Elenore Havlik of Waterloo; two uncles, Joe Havlik of West Burlington and Walter Havlik of Adel; and an aunt, JoAnn Snodgrass of Center Point.
Tami was very devoted to all her Meals on Wheels clients. Tami spent many years volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Donations to honor Tami's life may be made to Meals on Wheels, 819 Fifth St. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401.
Tami grew up in Waterloo, Iowa.
