Tamayo, James Anthony
James Anthony Tamayo, 25, of Tama, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, in Cedar Rapids. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. He will be cremated following the service.
He is survived by his mother, Caroline (Russ) Jacobi of Belle Plaine; sons, Jameson Tamayo of Tama and Jordan Tamayo of Cedar Rapids; his girlfriend, Shayla Youker of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Joshua Hendrix of Center Point and John Tamayo of Cedar Rapids; sister, Amanda Tamayo of Tama; grandmother, Jean VoPalka of Belle Plaine; grandfather, Wayne Kirchoff of Cedar Rapids; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
