Tamara Marie Schwendinger died Sunday, July 9, 2023, at her home at the age of 64 years.
She is survived by her husband, Dave; two daughters, Beth (Mark) Ohl of Grimes and Abby (Scott) Birkett of Des Moines; two grandchildren, Aidan and Arden; two brothers, Ron (Paula) Blount of East Amana and Dan Blount of High Amana; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established for Powerhouse Ministries, Meadow Lark or Iowa County Food Bank.
