Taggart, Zachary A.
Zachary A. Taggart of Jacksonville, Fla., departed his life unexpectedly due to complications of cerebral palsy on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, at age 16. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. The Rev. Ron Lewis will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Stacy (Eddy) Burgin of Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters, Alyson Taggart (Ryan) of Cedar Rapids and Edie Taggart (Jonny) of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandparents, Joyce Stewart of Vinton, Eva Taggart of Cedar Rapids and David Stewart of Vinton; plus several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding Zachary in death was a brother, Travis Taggart in June 1989.
Zachary Alan Taggart was born June 20, 1993, in Iowa City, Iowa. He loved all music, NASCAR, television shows, Cops and the Price Is Right, and had a wonderful love for his sisters. Alyson and Edie.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
