Tad Ross Morrison, 44, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed unexpectedly Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center. There is a Celebration of Life being planned. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survived by partner, Amber Poggemiller; children, Steven (17) and Kaliana (14); sisters, Mandi Smith and Joy Polen; nephews, Tristan, Kadyn and Kenyon; niece, Annalese; great-nephew, Maxwell Michael Morrison; and niece, Amisha Cole.
Born on Oct. 16, 1978, in Mason City, Iowa, the youngest child of Michael A. Morrison and Debra Sue Morrison who preceded him in death.
A prominent member of the cycling community for the last 15 years, Tad rode for many charitable benefits. He was a proud supporter of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Minnesota Vikings football, avid Counting Crows fan and Donate for Life member. He touched many lives with his spirit of laughter and humor with his friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
