Syndi J. Osborne, 57, of Brooklyn, Iowa, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Ill. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Grace United Methodist Church, Brooklyn, with the Rev. John Dodds officiating. Burial will be in Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn.
A memorial fund has been established.
Syndi is survived by her husband, Terry Osborne; three sisters, Susan Thompson of Willow River, Minn., Sherry Bixby (Bill) of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Sally Sadler (Mike) of Eagle Grove; her father-in-law, Dick Osborne of Brooklyn; a sister-in-law, Barb Hall (Cory) of Grinnell; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harland and Betty Gehler Thompson; and her mother-in-law, Betty Osborne.
