Sylvia Jean Spykerman of rural Elgin died Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at Central Community Hospital in Elkader. Service: 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, at Highland Lutheran Church, rural Elkader. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Leonard Funeral Home in Elkader and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment: Highland Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Elkader.
