Sylvia L. “Syl” Feigenspan, 76, of
North Liberty, passed away unexpectedly
on June 7, 2022, while driving with her husband to Oregon to celebrate her
grandson Ryan’s graduation.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at High Point Church, 4187 Landon Ave., in rural Iowa City. A celebration of Sylvia’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Private family burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville, Iowa.
Memorials may be directed to High Point Church. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City is handling arrangements.
Those closest to her include her husband, Marv; son, Dan Feigenspan (Tamra) of Kalona daughter, Cheryl Nichols (Rich) of North Liberty and son, Jason Feigenspan (Amy) of Albany, Ore.; grandchildren, Natalie Casper (Micah), Ty Feigenspan (Kaylee), Danielle, Lauren and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Harper and Brooks; brothers and sisters, Harold Hanson (LeAnna), Randine Evenson, Paul Hanson, Margaret Suhr (Dale), Inga Hanson, Elsie (Kevin), Enoch Hanson (Gina), Albert Hanson (Trudy), Cora Elrod (Gary); and many nieces and nephews.
