Sylvia was born November 16, 1945, in Tucson, AZ, the daughter of Delbert Leonard King and Mary Erma (Miller) King. She grew up in Independence and graduated from Jefferson High School with the class of 1963. Sylvia also enjoyed bowling, shooting pool, and going to the casino – where she found herself the winner, on multiple occasions. Above all, Sylvia loved to be with her family. She always looked forward to time spent together.
