Svoboda, Jane
Jane Svoboda, 65, of Clutier, died Sunday, March 14, 2010, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Clutier, with Father Jerry Blake as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, rural Clutier. Visitation will be held from 2 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kruse-Phillips Clutier Chapel. A rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Clutier, with a vigil service at 7 p.m.
Survivors include four children, a son. Brian D. (Robin) Svoboda of Barrington, Ill., a daughter, Kelly M. (Gary) Kretlow of Ankeny, a son, Jason T. (Jodi) Svoboda of Elkridge, Md., and a son, Nicholas J. Svoboda of Clutier; five grandchildren, Paige, Jacob, Noah, Caleb and Benjamin Svoboda; three sisters, Bernadine (Harold) Schuett of Tama, Kathryn (George) Kunch of Garwin, and Mary Jo (Ronald) Brandt of Clutier; one brother, Ambrose (Karen) Kearney of Garwin; and many nieces and nephews.
