Suzan (Suzi) L. Moeller, age 80, died on November 29, 2024, after a long illness. She was born March 10, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Wayne and Coral Dragoo. Except for a brief period as a young child spent in Rock Springs, Wyoming, Suzan lived her entire life in Cedar Rapids. In 1968 she met Richard Moeller. They were married on May 29, 1971. They lived happily and then Rich's diagnosis of MS complicated their lives. Suzan was her husband's primary care giver for 30 years. He died May 24, 2019. Suzan moved to Prairie Hills in December of 2020. Survivors include a son, two grandchildren, niece Marnie Christensen and family, nephew Per Christensen and sister-in-law Marilyn Christensen. Marilyn is forever grateful to Dr. Mary Ann Nelson, the caring staff at Prairie Hills and during her final days, those who cared for her at West Ridge. Suzan was buried next to her husband, parents and grandparents in Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences are welcome at www.cedarmemorial.com under obituaries.
