Susette Kay Broadrick, 78, of Vinton, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her siblings, Bill (Judy) Burmeister and Penny McCullough; and many nieces and nephews.
Susette was born on March 28, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of William and Dorothy (Hiatt) Burmeister. She attended Immaculate Conception Grade School and graduated from Regis High School. On Sept. 19, 1969, she married John Robert Broadrick. Susette enjoyed her family, friends and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
