Susan Marie Wilkinson, 66, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial visita-tion: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, at St. Luke's Hospital Chapel.
Survivors include her sisters, Carol (John) Callahan of Bernard and Karen (Rich) Mayzel of Upton, Mass.; nieces, Casey Mayzel and Allison Mayzel; nephews, Ty (Julie) Petsche and Jim Petsche; three great-nephews, Nathan, Zachary and Ryan; one great-niece, Megan; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Susan was born Oct. 17, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of David and Margaret "Peg" (McGuire) Wilkinson. She graduated from Linn-Mar High School, and went on to earn her LPN from St. Mary's School of Nursing in Rochester, Minn. Susan was a nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids until her retirement in 2011.
Susan's family wishes to thank the nurses on 5E and the hospice nurses at St. Luke's Hospital for their friendship, care and support.
A memorial fund has been established in Susan's name.
