Susan L. Munson, 61, of Hiawatha, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017. A gathering of remembrance will be held at Susan's daughter Holly Basset's
home at 4301 Midway Dr. NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405, starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sammy's Lounge on Saturday, Jan. 6, starting at 1 p.m.
She is survived by her father, Carl Fields Jr.; brother, Danny (Tina) Fields; sister, Cathy (Al) Boyer; four daughters, Holly (Tim) Basset, Andrea (Derek) Munson, Sally Munson and Autumn Skull; eight grandchildren, Shaun, Lila Kate, Elijah and Jackson, Damien, Decrole, Nayia and Lake; nephews, Chad, Michael and Eric; a niece, Lacey; and her loving husband, Skully.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Lila Fields; and her brother, Larry Fields.
Susan greatly enjoyed camping, fishing, Palisades-Kepler Park, gardening, birds, and especially playing guitar and listening to music. She had many friends and will be sadly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Susan's memory.
