Susan Marie (Armstrong) Lent, 62, passed away at her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Monday, Jan. 23, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Per Susan’s request, there will be no services at this time.
Susan was born on Oct. 1, 1960, in Chicago, Ill. She was the daughter of the late LaRoy and Carol (Cunningham) Armstrong. She enjoyed playing the organ, crocheting and playing Farmville.
Those left to cherish Susan’s memory are her daughter, Mary (Robert Pope) Maurer, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and her grandchildren, John Robert, Travis Richard, Logan John and Riley Peyton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny; her parents; and a brother, John Armstrong.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the National Hydrocephalus Foundation.
The family would like to thank the Cedar Rapids Fire Department, the Area Ambulance and Gentiva Hospice for all the help and support they showed Susan and her family.
