SUSAN DIANE HARRINGTON
North Liberty
Susan Diane Harrington, 71, of North Liberty, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at her home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, at Lensing's Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Rd., Coralville. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan Diane Harrington Memorial Fund.
Diane was born Feb. 11, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Milo and Bernice (Rowland) Dvorak. She was employed by the University of Iowa. Diane enjoyed spending her free time at Riverside Casino and watching NASCAR. She also enjoyed cheering on the Hawkeyes, especially in football and basketball. Diane especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
Diane is survived by her son, Michael (Mara) Harrington of Princeton, Iowa, and their children, Mickelson and Murphy; two siblings, Betty Walker of Stoughton, Wis., and Jim Groff of Davenport; her furry companion, Spencer; and many extended family.
