Susan E. Graham, 74, of 1225 42nd St. SE, Apt. 313, Cedar Rapids, formerly of Ottumwa, died at 2:02 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.
The daughter of Lyle and Faye Arnold, she was born Oct. 20, 1943, in Ottumwa. She married James K. Graham on April 6, 1966. A 1961 graduate of Keota High School, she worked at Ottumwa Hospital. Susan had been a resident of Cedar Rapids since 2005.
She was a member of First Church of the Open Bible in Ottumwa and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Jim; two sons, Shawn (Jo) Graham of Ely and Curtis (Michel) Graham of Swisher; four grandchildren, Zachary (Christina), Ian, Ashleigh (Glen) and Sarah; two great-grandsons, Orin and Kinnick; and two sisters, Renae (Earl) Hanes of Ottumwa and Debbie (Butch) Martin of Scottsdale, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rhonda; and three sisters, Christine Carlo, Mary Kearney and Toni Jones.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa with Pastor Mark Hornback officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will be open at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Valley Humane Society in Cedar Rapids.
