Supple. Clarence J. 'Clancy', Supple. Clarence J. 'Clancy'
Clarence J. “Clancy” Supple, 75, of Casa Grande, Ariz., passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at the Family Hospice Care in Casa Grande, Ariz. Per his wishes, he was cremated. Graveside services and inurnment at 10 a.m. Nov. 17 at Calvary Cemetery, Ryan, Iowa.
Clancy was born Sept. 27, 1937, to Thomas and Viola (Crowley) Supple. He grew up in Ryan and graduated from St. Patrick's Catholic School in Ryan and attended Loras College in Dubuque. In 1957, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and spent two years of service in Okinawa and traveled around the Pacific. For several years Clancy worked in real estate and served as president of the Board of Realtors and vice president for the State Association of Realtors. Clancy moved to California and worked in the hotel industry for several years and then retired to Arizona.
He is survived by his son, Michael (Sandee) Supple of LEawood, Kan.; and daughter, Lori (Kevin) Klopfenstein of Plymouth, Minn.; two stepsons, Mark and Matthew Havlicek, both of Des Moines; six grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
He is also survived by a sister, Kay (Roger) Wilson of Ryan and a brother, Kenneth (Veda) Supple of Marion.
Clancy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Supple.
