Sundberg, Eleanor Marie
Eleanor Marie Sundberg left this world Tuesday morning, Sept. 25, 2012, to join those who passed before her into everlasting life. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 Second St. SE, Cedar Rapids. A private family service will follow the visitation.
She leaves behind her children, Susan Carman, Urbana, Peggy Sproston, Anamosa, and Steven Sproston, Creve Coeur, Ill.; her adopted son, Jamie Pratt, Urbana; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred; her mother and stepfather, Mildred and Edward Drahos; brother, Robert; daughter, Linda Waters; son-in-law, Ray Carman; and a granddaughter, Miranda.
Eleanor Marie was born Aug. 14, 1939, to Alfred and Mildred Sundberg in Marion, Iowa. She loved to cook and bake. She was the best ever. She also did puzzles, search a word and crocheted dish cloths. She loved her dog “Little Bit” who was her constant companion.
She will be missed but we will join her someday.
