Noreen Sullivan, 70, of Ferndale, Wash., passed away May 31, 2013. She was born Nov. 10, 1942, to Thomas and Nora Sullivan in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Noreen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Herbert Sullivan; sister, Marilyn Christensen; and daughter, Christine Larson.

She is survived by her sister, Sandra Yeater; children, Joan, Thomas and Jerome; seven grandchildren; and many loving relatives and friends.

Noreen loved birds, frogs, photography, electronics, sewing and crafts. Noreen lived for her children and grandchildren and her friends became part of her family. Her love, faith and strength kept her family together. She always saw the good in everyone and looked for the silver lining in every cloud.

We will miss her laughter and knowing that she was always there for us. She will be missed by many.

A memorial fund has been established at Industrial Credit Union by Joan Default, Account 65674.

A celebration of Noreen's life will be held at Hovander Homestead Park in Ferndale on Saturday, June 8, at 3 p.m.
