Suiter, Ruth Ann
Ruth Ann Suiter passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Ruth will be forever loved and remembered as a beautiful woman who touched our hearts. There will be private services held for family only at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City.
Ruth was born April 29, 1943, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Gunnar and Betty Krogh (Weekes). She was a graduate of City High School in Iowa City in 1961. On Aug. 19, 1963, Ruth joined Wilber Merrit Suiter in marriage. Ruth worked for over 30 years at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Ruth found joy in reading books, bowling, putting together puzzles, going to garage sales and spending time with her family.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Wilber Suiter; three daughters, Lorrie Green, Leslie Finnestad and Natalie Suiter; five grandchildren, Daniel Green, Brady Green, Claire Green, Julia Green and Sierra Suiter; and three siblings, Carolyn Bickford, Butch Krogh and Gunnar Krogh Jr.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.
