SUCYN "SUE" A. TENNEY

Sucyn "Sue" A. Tenney, 86, of Dyersville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque. Sucyn's family services are private. A memorial service for Sucyn is pending at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Dyersville.
Sucyn was born Aug. 28, 1931, in Albert Lea, Minn., the daughter of Albert and Selma (Anderson) Ehlert. She married Harold D. Tenney on Sept. 24, 1949, in Spring Valley, Minn. She was a waitress in many area restaurants. She collected teddy bears. She was a very cheerful person who had a strong spirit.
Survivors include her four children, Julie Tenney of Dyersville, Robert Tenney of Dyersville, Barbara (Henry) Mills of Forest City and Jefferey (Lori) Tenney of Vinton; five grandchildren, Shay Tenney, Hattie Mills, Thomas Mills, Ian Tenney and Kyle Tenney; and brother-in-law, John Steffen of Farley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold, in 1999; daughter-in-law, Darlene Tenney, in 2008; granddaughter, Lisa Tenney; and siblings, Barbara Steffen, Wally Ehlert and Mary Ehlert.
