Stuefen, Myron 'Pug'
Myron “Pug” Stuefen, 78, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, at his home. Celebration of Pug's life will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will follow service until 7 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is handling arrangements.
Myron was born Feb. 13, 1932, in White, S.D., the son of Fred “Fritz” and Bessie (Youngman) Stuefen. He married Sandra Easley on Feb. 26, 1960. He was a member of the Pug and His Western Playboys for many years. He was a member of Locals 43 for over 50 years.
Pug is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Marty, Monty and Mickey (Tracy); grandchildren, Sumer, Maggie, Amber, Mitch, Matt (Sara), Mike and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Brandon and Lexdon; brothers, Les (Darlene) and Don (Marlys); twin sister, Marion “Sis” Turkington; and sister-in-law, Betty Stuefen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bob Stuefen; and brother-in-law, Carl Turkington.
