Max D. Strang, 71, of Solon, died Nov. 12, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Monday, Milton United Methodist Church, Milton. Burial: Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
He was a retired rural mail carrier out of the Milton post office and was past president of Iowa Rural Letter Carriers Association.
