Stokes, Peggy
Peggy Stokes: A Remembrance of Peggy will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City. The family invites friends to join them for a reception at noon, at the Kirkwood Room, 515 Kirkwood Ave. (next door to Lensing's) following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Hospice of Iowa City, Doctors Without Borders and Heifer International. Memorials may be directed c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box 167, Iowa City, IA 52244.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks for all the calls, cards, and visits of support since Peggy's passing. It has been a heartfelt and overwhelming positive experience. The family would also like to thank everyone for their most generous donations in Peggy's name.
