Stockman, Roger W.
Roger W. Stockman, 47, of 5554 Klinger St. SW, Cedar Rapids, died Friday, June 3, 2011, in his home. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where a wake service will be held at 6 p.m., conducted by Deacon Richard Manning.
Survivors include his parents; daughters, Megan and Alissa Stockman, both of Cedar Rapids; his sister, Marilyn (Jim) Podgorski of Cedar Rapids; nephew, Christopher (Tracy) Perez of Oakwood, Ga.; niece, Samantha Perez of Davenport, Fla.; and one great-nephew.
Born March 28, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Roger was the son of Ronald and Betty (Divis) Stockman. He graduated from Prairie High School in 1982.
Roger's joys were fishing, hunting, four-wheeling and the outdoors.
A memorial fund has been established in Roger's memory for his daughters' education.
