Stewart, William Lavern
William Lavern Stewart, infant son of Matthew and Teresa Stewart, was called home by God on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Private family graveside services will be today at Linn Grove Cemetery, rural Mount Vernon. Pastors Frank Seydel and Jim Stewart will officiate.
Left behind to mourn his loss are his parents, Matthew and Teresa Stewart of Marion; grandparents, Mike and Karen Stewart of Martelle and Denis and Jeanne Duppong of rural Mount Vernon; great-grandmothers, Rilla Stewart of Mount Vernon and Haleen Pellett of Atlantic; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial fund is being established in Will's memory and contributions can be sent in care of Morgan Funeral Home and Cremation Choices, 715 10th Ave. SW, Mount Vernon, IA 52314.
