Steven L. Wroblewski, 64, of Monticello, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Crestview Acres in Marion after a brief battle with cancer.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello. Kramer Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Steve was born July 24, 1951, in Peoria, Ill., the son of Ruth Ommen-Wroblew-ski and Donald Wroblew-ski. He graduated from the Anamosa High School with the class of 1970. He was self-employed doing lawn care for the elderly for nearly 40 years in the Monticello area. He enjoyed researching genealogy and tracing the family history.
Steve is survived by two siblings, Starr (Daniel) Porter of Monticello and David (Cindy) Wroblewski of Cedar Rapids; numerous nieces and nephews of three generations; and an aunt, Helen Dirks of Monticello.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant nephew, Chad Michael Wroblewski.
