Steven W. Cox, 68, lifetime resident of Iowa City, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Steven Wayne Cox was born Jan. 22, 1955, in Iowa City, the son of Harold and Marian (Kuhlmann) Cox. He attended schools in the Iowa City School district, graduating from City High School in 1973. For many years Steve worked for Sheller-Globe here in Iowa City before retiring.
His family includes his three siblings, Cynthia Dohrer, Kathryn Pieper and Randall Cox.
No public services are planned, he will be buried with family at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Services cared for Steven and his family.
