STEVEN TERPSTRA Cedar Rapids Steven C. Terpstra, 55, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m., with a visitation beginning an hour before, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with Certified Celebrant Jim Parton officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Steven Clark Terpstra was born April 24, 1959, to Arnold and Ruth Harris Terpstra in Grinnell, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor's degree. Steven was united in marriage to Julia Koellner on May 17, 1986, in Davenport. He was co-owner of Mark Seed Co. Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing euchere and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and Indianapolis Colts. Survivors include his wife, Julie; children, Laura Terpstra of Iowa City and Morgan Terpstra of Indianola; his brothers, Doug (Serena) Terpstra of Eau Claire, Wis., Mark Terpstra of Perry and Neal (Lisa) Terpstra of Naperville, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial donations may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
