Steven Schneiter, 58, of Monticello, died Thursday Sept. 3, 2009 at the Jackson County Hospital from injuries received in an auto accident.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Peace Untied Church of Christ, Monticello with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello. Rev. Peter Wenzel will officiate at the services.
Surviving is his wife, Marge; 3 sons, Michael (Joy) of Carbondale, Colo., Brett and special friend, Jaime Oliver, Cedar Rapids, Daniel (Petra) of Zdar Nad Sazavou, in the Czech Republic; a granddaughter, Selah; his dog Cosmo; 2 sisters, Karen (Christopher) Williams, Del Mar, Calif., Bev Schneiter, Edwards, Colo.; and a brother, Douglas (Denise), Loveland, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peace United Church of Christ.
